About the Job

PwC's data and analytics engineering team focuses on using advanced technologies to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. They transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and business growth. Data engineers at PwC design and build data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis, including developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Developing and maintaining backend services with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Architecting and implementing scalable and secure microservices.
• Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrating AWS services.
• Optimizing cloud infrastructure performance.
• Implementing cloud security best practices.
• Providing support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Documenting cloud infrastructure.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch).
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Understanding of cloud security practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and EKS.
• Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of message queues (e.g., SQS, Kafka)

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in software development, focused on AWS and microservices.
