Fullstack Developer

VisCommerce seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer proficient in Three.js and React.js to create interactive 3D web applications. This remote position requires a Computer Science Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of full-stack experience. Excellent communication is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js on the frontend and modern Node. JS-based frameworks on the backend.
• Design, implement, and optimize interactive 3D experiences with Three.js, focusing on real-time rendering, asset management, and advanced lighting.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver engaging user experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code for client- and server-side logic.
• Participate in system architecture decisions, performance optimizations, and develop related documentation.
• Communicate project goals, development progress, and technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Advanced experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component lifecycle).
• Hands-on expertise in Three.js and WebGL for 3D web graphics.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (including ES6+ syntax).
• Familiarity with backend frameworks (Node.js, Express, or similar) and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in frontend performance optimization and asset handling (e. g., glTF, OBJ files).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with animation systems, advanced lighting, and rendering pipelines.
• Interest in other related developments, such as USD, Nvidia Omniverse, etc
• Familiarity with 3D asset pipelines, optimization, and browser limitations.
• Previous contributions to open-source 3D or web development projects.
