Full-Stack Software Engineer (New graduates: United States)

Wanderlog is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering and product-driven team. The role requires building new features for our website and mobile app (using Javascript (Typescript): modern React on the web, React Native on mobile, and Node.js/Express on the server), designing and implementing solutions based on user needs, building data pipelines, writing tests, and maintaining engineering infrastructure. The engineer will debug and fix bugs, scale infrastructure, review code, and work nimbly to build new features efficiently. The role reports to the cofounders. Successful candidates should be Javascript developers comfortable with React and/or React Native. A product-oriented mindset is essential. Familiarity with various technologies is preferred (e.g., Redis, Elasticsearch, Python). The ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and a passion for travel are key. The team values putting travelers first, owning the product end-to-end, and working together respectfully. The hiring process involves asynchronous programming challenges and coding interviews.
