Full Stack Engineer

About the Role: As a Full Stack Engineer at CX2, you will be part of our in-house technical team, working with our venture and accelerator groups to build web applications and AI agent platforms for portfolio companies. You'll support startups from proof-of-concept to production, using modern web technologies.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development: Architect and implement web and microservice applications using Node.js/Express (backend) and React.js (frontend).
• AWS: Design, deploy, and optimize AWS services such as ECS/EKS/Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB.
• Database Design: database schema design for relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and vector-enabled stores (pgvector, DynamoDB), ensuring data integrity, performance, and extensibility
• Prototyping & MVPs: Collaborate directly with founders and product teams to rapidly prototype features, iterate on user feedback, and transition MVPs into robust products
• CI/CD & Automation: Establish automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI) for testing, security scans, and deployments across environments
• Monitoring & Reliability: Implement observability—logging, metrics, alerts—and own incident response and post-mortems to maintain high availability

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of full stack development with Node.js and React.js (or vanilla JS) in production
• 2+ years designing and operating AWS infrastructure, including serverless and containerized services
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL database design and optimization
• Proven ability to build and document RESTful APIs
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with founders

Nice to have skills:

• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based agents (RAG, vector search)
• Familiarity with WebGL/Three.js or svg based visualizations (beyond basic dom)
• Startup or accelerator experience
