Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full Stack Developer to contribute to the evolution of our platform. This role involves developing user features, refactoring existing code for scalability, and collaborating to create innovative solutions for law firms. You will have the opportunity to build and improve front-end and back-end components to ensure a robust and maintainable application.

What You'll Do

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js / Ruby on Rails / GraphQL / PostgreSQL
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries
• Translate requirements into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for performance.
• Fix bugs and prevent recurrence.
• Use AI tools to enhance development.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of Full Stack Development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (including DOM manipulation) and React.js
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with front-end build pipelines
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical ones.
• Proficient with Unix, CLI, Git
• A love for unit and integration tests

Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Redis, Sidekiq, GraphQL, and DevOps experience (AWS, CI, Docker) are a plus, but not required. This role requires on-site presence from Monday to Wednesday at our La Jolla, San Diego office, with the flexibility to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
