Frontend Software Developer Intern

About the Job

Stovo is seeking a motivated Frontend Software Developer Intern to gain hands-on experience building travel-facing web features. This unpaid, mentorship-driven position is ideal for students or early-career engineers seeking real product-building experience.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3–6 months (flexible)

Hours: ~10–20 hours/week (flexible)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and improve user-facing features (search, stopover comparisons, visa-lookup flows, destination pages).
• Build small end-to-end features (UI, data fetching, and back-end integration).
• Improve site performance, accessibility, and reliability.
• Write clean, testable code.
• Collaborate with the founders/product designers.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• Comfortable writing front-end code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience with React/Remix or similar is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and asynchronous data fetching.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Curious, ownership mindset, strong communication, and eagerness to learn.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program or recently graduated (preferred).
