Frontend Engineer Job Description

Job Title: Frontend Engineer (ONLY W2)

Location: Rochester, NY (Remote)

Duration: 6 Months (Extensible)

Interview Process: 3 Rounds including a Coding Test

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features and interfaces for enterprise SaaS applications.
• Translate design prototypes (Figma, etc.) into responsive, high-quality code.
• Work primarily with TypeScript, React, CSS, Vite, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with backend, data, and product teams.
• Implement, maintain, and improve automated frontend test frameworks.
• Optimize frontend performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Document frontend architecture, components, and best practices.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience building and maintaining frontend applications for large-scale SaaS products.
• Proficient in TypeScript, React, CSS, and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
• Familiarity with GraphQL and backend API integration.
• Ability to translate design prototypes.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Exposure to high-growth or product-focused SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance profiling.
