Frontend Engineer – PetYosa (Bangalore, In-office, Full Time)

About the Job

PetYosa is the world's first AI-powered pet super app and smart collar ecosystem (FitYosa), merging pet health, vet care, grooming, boarding, e-commerce, and community into a single intelligent platform. We are seeking a Frontend Engineer who enjoys crafting beautiful, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces. You will be working on both our mobile app and web dashboards, ensuring PetYosa provides an intuitive and delightful experience for all pet parents.

This role goes beyond pixel-pushing; you'll be creating experiences that pet parents depend on for their pets' health, safety, and happiness.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive and high-performing UI components in React Native (mobile app) and React.js (web dashboards).
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementations.
• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure smooth user flows across devices.
• Optimize for performance, offline functionality, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to iterate quickly.
• Write testable code and contribute to our shared component libraries.

Must-Have

• 2–4 years of experience with React Native and React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Next.js, and frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, ES6+).
• Solid experience building responsive and cross-browser compatible applications.
• AI Enthusiast – must be aware of and ready to leverage AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codeium, Codex, Lovable) to boost efficiency, accuracy, and development speed.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and frontend state management (Redux/Zustand/Recoil).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.

Bonus Points

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with animation libraries (Reanimated, Framer Motion).
• Understanding of performance bottlenecks in mobile/web apps.
• Prior work on consumer apps with high user engagement.
• Passion for pets.
