We're seeking Front End Software Developers to join our team in Waterloo, ON and help advance our goal of using technology to transform teaching and learning. You will be building responsive, accessible, and design-forward features, with a focus on Web Components. This role requires a strong understanding of full-stack principles going beyond visual implementation to consider architecture, data flow, and integration with backend systems.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions
• Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (ie: C++, C# or Java)
• Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including: data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems
• Experience in software development, preferably in a technology focused company
• Acumen with Artificial Intelligence tools
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline

D2L operates in a hybrid work style, with expectation of 3 days per week in office.
