Position Summary
Synergie Systems is seeking a motivated and talented Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our distributed US team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will receive dedicated mentorship, work on meaningful projects, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues to improve application performance.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Learn and integrate new technologies and tools as required by project needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, obtained within the last 24 months.
- Demonstrable proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and/or backend frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic, internship, or project experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL or NoSQL).
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- A portfolio of projects or contributions to open-source available on GitHub or a personal website.
