Django Developer

As a Django Developer at Vector Consulting Group, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and support of our software applications, specifically focusing on integrating with ERP systems. You will collaborate with internal teams to build new features, resolve issues, and optimize application performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for live clients.
• Debug and fix issues.
• Maintain and version code.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
• Understand and document requirements.
• Manage customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team.
• Continuously improve applications.
• Provide user training and documentation (Excel, PPTs).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python, Django, Batch files, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of ERP integration points (Flat File, XLSX, API, Z-tables, Web Services, JSON).
• Knowledge of the software application development lifecycle (SDLC) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Familiarity with Domains, SSL certificates, batch jobs, ftp, sftp, mount points, and IIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
