DevOps Software Engineer Principal

About the role:

As a Principal DevOps Engineer focused on Vulnerability Remediation within Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Operations (IECO), you will contribute to the development of our solution delivery platforms supporting our web-based applications on the latest cloud technologies within a DevSecOps culture. You will utilize automation and cloud technologies to provide world-class solutions for the non-profit industry, ensuring environment security.

What you'll do:

• Build automation leveraging CI/CD, automated testing, unit testing, and code coverage.
• Contribute to reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools for increased efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to understand and address new industry security threats.
• Collaborate with application management teams to address open vulnerabilities.
• Pursue opportunities to improve operational excellence by increasing efficiency and reducing risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to establish technical direction and drive innovative solutions.
• Drive technical design and validation, aligning with technical strategies.
• Develop architectural designs for applications, managing costs.

What you’ll bring:

• 10+ years of experience with web technologies: C#, .NET, Java, or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure) and understanding of SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS models.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable, 24x7 environments/applications.
• Experience creating automation scripts (Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby, etc.) for cloud orchestration; PowerShell preferred.
• Available 24x7x365 for production incidents and key customer events.
• Ability to create secure and scalable code.
