Data Engineering Lead

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of end-to-end data systems.
Strong understanding of the data development lifecycle, from ingestion to final business presentation.
Collaborate effectively across technical, product, and business teams.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
Implement observability and proactive monitoring of data systems.

Requirements:

10+ years of data engineering experience, with a proven track record leading projects or teams.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in Scala or Java.
Experience with streaming and batch data processing frameworks.
Experience designing large-scale data lakes/warehouses, and implementing best practices.
Strong experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure) cloud platforms.
Domain knowledge in fintech or a similarly data-intensive, regulated industry.

Good to Haves:

Fintech or financial data experience, including regulatory compliance and reporting.
Experience with real-time analytics or event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Familiarity with data observability tools (e.g., Monte Carlo, Databand).
Exposure to ML pipelines and model operationalization.
