Cloud Full Stack Developer

The IBM Cloud Privileged Access Gateway team in Bengaluru is seeking a Cloud Full Stack Developer to join their team. This role involves building, deploying, configuring, and supporting services within the IBM Cloud. The developer will design and implement innovative features, optimize code for performance, support global users, and contribute to a highly available cloud offering within IBM Cloud Security Services.

As a Cloud Native application developer, you will work in an agile environment to develop and support cloud services, focusing on features/automation, code optimization, and global user support. This role requires collaboration with international teams and adherence to quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Implementation: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both backend and frontend applications.
• Backend Development: Build and maintain scalable and reliable server-side applications using Python/GoLang.
• Frontend Development: Develop responsive and intuitive web interfaces using React or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Cloud Native: Work with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Agile Methodology: Collaborate in an Agile environment.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with international teams.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and testing.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).

Required Technical Expertise: 1-3 years of experience with C++/Python/GoLang/Java or ReactJS/Javascript. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Proficiency with APIs, REST, and event-driven architectures. Experience with microservices, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with git, development tools, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Technical Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), monitoring tools, performance optimization, and secure coding practices. Contribution to open-source projects is a plus.
