We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer (Python + GCP) to design, develop, and research cloud-based data applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Python expertise and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). This role involves research & development, building proof-of-concepts (POCs), and has the potential to evolve into a Designer/Junior Architect role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable cloud-based data solutions on GCP (preferred).
- Develop and optimize Python applications and services for cloud environments.
- Research and build POCs for new solutions, tools, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Apply best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
- Support architectural discussions, documentation, and reviews.
Requirements:
- B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science or a related field from premier institutes (IIT, IIIT, NIT, or equivalent).
- 5-7 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering or solution design roles.
Technical Skills:
- Strong Python programming skills for cloud data applications.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
- Experience with AWS/Azure is welcome, with a willingness to work on GCP.
- Understanding of cloud data architecture, storage, and processing.
