Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team at GeoIQ in Bangalore. You will be solving real-world problems and building scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply an eager interest in learning new market and technology, and adapt to these.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficient in Python (Flask) and SQL (PostgreSQL and PostGIS).
• Practical experience with MongoDB, Airflow, and Nginx.
• Practical experience with Cloud Services, specifically GCP.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Knowledge of GIS concepts is a plus.
• Build and design REST APIs.
