Backend Developer - Python

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer (Python) for our Pune office. This is an in-person role located in Baner, Pune. We are looking for candidates based in Pune, India.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python.
• Lead design reviews and architect scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience in production systems.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead.
• Solid understanding of MySQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of MongoDB is desired.
• Experience with Pandas for data handling and analysis.
• Expert-level understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience implementing FastAPI-based endpoints with async def functions.
• Experience in implementing parallel tasks using async functions.
• Complete understanding of Asyncio and Threading.
• Experience using Pydantic data model.
• Experience implementing class and object-oriented programming in Python.
• Familiarity with data processing workflows and concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to security concepts (authentication, authorization, secure coding).
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and event streaming architectures.
• Experience with data connectors or ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of or curiosity about Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
