Backend Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Backend Developer to join a well-established health provider operating across a native-cloud technology stack on AWS. You will be involved in building an enterprise-scale order lifecycle management system.

We are looking for engineers with strong Java/JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience working with AWS cloud services. This role offers the chance to focus on development while participating in DevOps practices such as CI/CD. You'll be building enterprise-scale HIPAA-compliant platforms, fully utilizing your JavaScript/TypeScript expertise and AWS knowledge.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience and understanding of AWS environment (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, IAM, ...)
• Strong hands-on experience with microservices development
• Adept skills in API creation and design
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS Lambda

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified Developer certification
• Understanding of IaC such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices in AWS Cloud environments
• Ability to design and deploy CI/CD pipelines
• US Health industry experience such as working with HL7 or HIPAA software
