Backend Developer - Java

As a Backend Developer, you'll design, develop, and manage Java-based software applications. Responsibilities include:

• Software program research, design, and management.
• Testing and evaluating new programs.
• Modifying software to fix errors and improve performance.
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Writing and implementing code.
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
• Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
• Ensuring optimal query execution and server resource utilization.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of backend development experience with Java (11+) and Spring Boot (3.x).
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with both Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Non-Relational Databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) models, AI frameworks, and related tools (e.g., OpenAI), including prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science teams.
• Understanding of model performance metrics, data preprocessing, and experimentation.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization.
• Familiarity with functional programming and backend architecture best practices.
• Knowledge of modern software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).
