Backend Developer Intern [Remote]

XR Solutions seeks a passionate Backend Developer Intern to build backend systems for advanced AR applications in real-world industrial environments. This remote, hands-on role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services. While initially unpaid, exceptional performance may lead to a paid position. Responsibilities include developing APIs using Node.js and Express.js, managing databases with PostgreSQL and Sequelize, integrating backend services with AR platforms and machine learning pipelines, testing and quality assurance, DevOps support using AWS, troubleshooting, and code reviews.

Required skills include proficiency in Node.js and Express.js, solid JavaScript & TypeScript skills, experience with PostgreSQL, familiarity with AWS services, understanding of Git, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and IT security. Experience with Sequelize ORM is a bonus. The internship offers hands-on experience building backend systems, exposure to AWS-based scalable architectures, experience with industrial-grade API design, and involvement in a live product launch.
