Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the business team to design and develop innovative products.
• Gain hands-on coding experience and take ownership of software components.
• Build high-performance, scalable, and enterprise-ready back-end architectures capable of supporting millions of concurrent users.
• Adhere to and promote strong engineering best practices.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate information security responsibilities.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software product development and delivery.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering from a reputable institute (IITs, NITs, or similar).
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and algorithms, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience should be from a product development or e-commerce background.
• Proven stability in previous roles.
• Strong back-end knowledge and cloud development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS (MySQL preferred); NoSQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle/Ant, Kafka, and GIT/Bitbucket in an agile environment.
• Commitment to writing high-quality code supported by unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with open-source tech stacks such as Grafana, Kibana, Jira, Prometheus, Redis/Memcached caches, and Celery task queues.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and the AWS tech stack is a plus.
