Back End Developer

About the role: As a Back End Developer at Xupra.ai, you will be integral to our AI-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for backend integration engineering for pharmaceutical systems, optimizing model deployment, and architecting backend workflows for AI agents. You will work with technologies such as Claude AI and the Mastra framework.

Responsibilities:

• Backend integration engineering (pharma systems → AI pipeline)
• Model deployment and optimization
• Backend architecture for AI agent workflows
• LLM API integration and engineering
• Data pipeline engineering

Tech Stack: Python, Flask and FastApi (knowledge expected), LLM API integration, Data pipeline engineering

Requirements:

• 3+ years backend engineering experience
• Production AI/ML deployment experience
• Data integration/ETL expertise

Nice to Have: Pharma/healthcare data experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation: Equity stake (negotiable), Contract positions available.

Onboarding: Complete our internal AI agents training (provided) to understand the full product architecture. Location: Remote (US-based preferred).
