Back End Developer

Role: Back End Developer

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Develop software solutions.
• Utilize object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Collaborate with front-end developers.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Develop and deliver quality services and solutions using Node.js, Java, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, NoSQL and other web technologies.
• Participate in engineering team projects from requirements gathering through release.
• Translate complex requirements into detailed design.
• Maintain technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, particularly Node.js.
• Experience building REST-based reactive microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with event/message-driven system design and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
• Proven ability to deliver high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

• Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Basic understanding of Front-End Development principals
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
