Associate Software Development Engineer

As an Associate Software Development Engineer at NTT DATA, you'll be an entry-level expert contributing to the design, development, and testing of software systems and applications. This role involves assisting in designing modules, prototyping infrastructure, and showcasing solutions. Responsibilities include developing functionality within a micro-services environment, working with APIs, telemetry data, and ML/AI algorithms, and handling both structured and unstructured data. Key duties include designing and developing solutions, writing and testing code, participating in software deployment, supporting solution integration, building solutions with 3rd party software, crafting and debugging large-scale systems, updating technical documentation, and reviewing code.

To thrive, you should have a basic understanding of cloud architecture, proficiency in programming languages, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, experience with micro-services architecture and APIs, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores. Some experience with container runtimes and CI/CD concepts is also beneficial. You should possess a can-do attitude, work well in a team, and excel in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, with certifications like Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals being preferred.

This role requires entry-level experience with geo-distributed teams, tools across the software delivery lifecycle, Agile and Lean methodologies, and experience with large datasets and micro-services. You'll be joining a team dedicated to innovation and performance.
